"On August 28, 2015 my future husband and I prepared for our wedding at the Centennial Barn. Ami and her mom, Phyllis, helped us in every possible way to ensure our day was wonderful and stress free. And they did just that! It was the most beautiful day of my life and it was everything that I ever imagined. We couldn’t have done it without the wonderful staff at the Centennial.
The items we borrowed were neatly stacked and ready for us to put out at our convenience, the staff kept me apprised of all happenings throughout the day (when other vendors were arriving, any issues that crept up that they handled, etc.). They never once let me feel like I had to worry about ANYTHING – they handled it all and for that I’m extremely grateful.
I would recommend anyone looking for a wonderful venue for a wedding, reception, or any other gathering to use the Centennial. It was wonderful. A perfect atmosphere for an intimate gathering. One that you cannot get anywhere else. I cannot express how perfect it was. It was breathtaking. We all had the most wonderful time!
Ami and her staff have it down to a science and she provided wonderful ideas to us from the first time we met and scheduled our wedding date. This made it so easy to make our dream wedding come true. Our entire family lived outside of the west Michigan area and it was worth every minute of travel. Ami was wonderful to work with and answered all my questions via phone or email whenever I needed. I couldn’t have asked for anything better!

During my engagement I was living in Alaska, but wanted my wedding in Michigan near my family. I never even saw the venue before I booked it, so, as you can imagine, I was a bit nervous. However, Ami explained her vision for the barn and listened as I explained my dream for my wedding day. I truly couldn't have put my trust in a better person. When I finally saw the barn I was amazed! It was gorgeous and I could tell Ami not only knew the details of how to create a barn wedding, but also had the passion and drive to make it absolutely beautiful, like every perfect barn-wedding picture I had ever seen. The outdoor ceremony provided a natural and idyllic setting- perfect for two people who love the outdoors. Ami's selection of decorations in her inventory was especially helpful for me - I barely supplied any of my own decorations, which significantly helped with the overall cost of our wedding and made my job of preparing so much easier! The months prior to my wedding I sent Ami countless emails requesting the different types of decorations I wanted and how I wanted the venue setup (I am very detail oriented and probably drove everyone around me NUTS with all the specifics I was trying to cover for my wedding day). Ami's responses were always supportive, patient, helpful, and left me feeling confident in her ability to help me prepare for my wedding. She quickly understood my style and didn't ever push me to do anything a particular way. On the day of the wedding Ami and her staff were present and helpful and jumped in to help wherever necessary. I know my family and friends really appreciated their availability to answer questions and lend a hand at multiple moments which allowed everyone to feel less stressed and more easily enjoy themselves. So many people approached me on the day of (and afterward!) and told me things like "most beautiful wedding I've ever been to" and "this is my dream barn wedding" and "perfect Pinterest wedding!" I know everyone says this, but my wedding was truly the perfect day for me. I couldn't have dreamt up a more beautiful wedding for my husband and me and I have Ami and the staff at the Centennial Barn to thank for it. There are so many other things I haven't even mentioned (i.e. the bathrooms!). I could not have been happier with any other venue. Thank you, thank you, thank you :) ~ Mallory M., Alaska ~

Not only did we thoroughly enjoy the people who we worked with, they truly made us feel like family throughout the entire time, including the many months leading up to our special day! Their attention to detail and follow up to every question we had was remarkable. They even have their own DJ who was completely awesome and accommodating to all our requests. We highly recommend this venue for anyone who wants to enjoy the beautiful outdoors, or even just the gorgeous set up in the barn!"
